Expectations
Workload
As a 2-credit course, students can expect to spend 6 hours per week working on this course.
Group Work
Companionship study is a time for you to share gospel insights with an assigned companion. This form of study will help you learn to articulately express your testimony and your feelings about the gospel. This will be a time where you share a 3–5 minute lesson with your companion. Your companion will give you feedback and then you will switch roles with your companion. Companionship study will help you learn to give and receive feedback effectively. Companionship study takes place via Zoom, and you will need a webcam for these assignments.
Late Work
As a sign of professionalism and respect, you should complete your work on time. However, your instructor has the discretion to accept late work or extend due dates as appropriate.
Social Media
Social media is a very important missionary tool. Students in this class are expected to use social media to share the gospel, just like missionaries in the field, and will need a Facebook account for the Social Media Project.
Extra Credit
The Attribute Inventory students do in Week 09 is the only extra credit in the course.
