Overview

As taught last week, math is a skill that requires practice. The exercises this week give you an opportunity to continue practicing addition and subtraction but it is made slightly more difficult by including numbers with more digits and decimal numbers as well as regrouping. This week you also learned about rounding. The exercises on rounding are meant to challenge you to remember place values and apply different rounding techniques. You will also see some review questions from lesson 2. Now that you have had more practice with harder problems, you may find them easier than last week. This is an example of how practice improves your skills.
